My daughter ordered her wedding cake from Fiona’s. We were to pick it up just before the rehearsal on the day before the wedding. My husband and I were running late and got there an hour later than we were supposed to get there. When we arrived, we were told that they were adding snowflakes to the cake and it would be another 15 minutes wait. This made no sense because the cake was supposedly done the day before. They brought out the sheet cake so we could take it to the car while we waited. I had my husband open the box so we could take a look. It was awful! There was a crack right down the middle of the cake, and the score lines looked like a year old added them to the top of the cake. The owner came out and told me she wanted to take the sheet cake back and fix it – it would only take another 10 minutes. Now we were to wait 25 minutes for cakes that should have been ready to go. They patched the sheet cake. It was obviously patched. We asked for a discount on the price because the quality was poor. The owner said she would contact us after the wedding to discount the cake. It might have been something we could get past if the cake had been incredible, but the quality of the cake was no good either. The icing was either so thin it was almost not there or it was massively thick. There was nothing professional about the cake or the way Fiona’s handled the situation. And we have not heard back from the owner. Somehow I’m not surprised.My advice? Do not order a wedding cake from Fiona’s.

My husband wanted a bison burger from Ryan’s so I ordered him one takeout, but I am a vegetarian, and not real big on their menu so I ran next door to Fiona’s and was pleasantly surprised at not only the size of their menu but the building itself as well as all they had to offer! I ordered the #30 Rosie’s Round up, and hurried home to eat. I could not believe how good it was! I have never left a comment before, so it must be good! It came with a side of sweet potato chips in a yummy sauce and a pickle too. I WILL BE BACK!
Not good catering service. Fiona’s catered our wedding, and while the food was tasty, THEY DID NOT BRING THE PLATES OR EATING UTENSILS. I had an email from the owner of Fiona’s describing exactly what kind of plates she was bringing, as well as plasticware, so I could get dessert plates to match. When the caterer setting up at our wedding realized what had happened she told us it was not her responsibility and refused to offer a solution. Last minute we had to ask the owner of the facility to use some leftover plates from another event…which were really ugly. Luckily he had forks too, no knives. My 200 guests had to eat chicken breasts with no knives! Afterwards, I called and emailed Elizabeth, the owner to discuss what had happened and she never responded or apologized!
Intruder alert.. We visited Fiona’s Deli on Sunday Sept. 18th at about 4:30PM. We have been there a few times before and we normally love it. However this was a lousy experience. I felt like an intruder. We walked in and the girl working was cleaning tables and completely ignored us. No hello, I thought maybe they were closing so I asked and was told they were open until 6:00PM. We just wanted dessert and ordered a cupcake, a glass of milk, and a blondie. Both the cupcake and the blondie were stale. So we got a crappy dessert and not even a thank you for spending $8 plus. The girl ignored us on the way out. I felt like an intruder. I sure the girl will be happy if you don’t come in which is too bad, this place used to rock. Mark
Nice selection. I think the menu can be a bit confusing because it is so big but I do think the sandwiches are very tasty and their salads and breads are even better.
