Amazing. I had the duck confit, and I know that is a cardinal sin to have at a fish restaurant, but it was phenomenal. Not sure what the issue was with the people who dislike this restaurant. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The dessert was also amazing. We had the deconstructed s’more which may not sound great, but it was made with a dark chocolate ganache that was divine. I live in Utah, but I might make the trip back just to go here again.
A-maz-ing. Our favorite date spot. Amazing fresh seafood, awesome flavor, we can’t say enough!! The swordfish stew with clams, mussels, and crab was the best dinner I’ve had in years. Must try for foodies in the Fort Collins area.
Recently moved to town and this is our favorite already. The raw oysters are fantastic. Everything was very delicious, the drinks were very good and the service was great. The server we had was very good. The saltwater tank was a hit with my daughter with really pretty tropical fish and shrimp. Yes, it is pretty pricey, but fresh fish in a land-locked state will be. We can’t wait to go back.
Like it. We’ve just moved to Fort Collins and have visited Jax twice. Since we are here, 1400 miles from family, we decided to have Easter dinner at Jax ( we are both seafood fans). We decided on the seafood tower and it was worth it. We sat at the bar and the bartender could not have been friendlier and was attentive without being intrusive. We will certainly be back.
My boyfriend took me here for valentines day and it was absolutely amazing! We had oysters and calamari for appetizers, for entres I had ahi tuna and my boyfriend had swordfish then for dessert we had the cinnamon donuts. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! The timing was perfect, we ordered appetizers and they were there within 10 minutes. Then 10-15 minutes after that our entrees were served. And then 10-15 minutes after we placed our dessert order, it was out on our table! The service was awesome, the food was delicious, it was definitely worth the money! This restaurant is a bit expensive with all entrees between $25 and $40. For the 2 of us, our dinner and tip was around $115. But definitely a great treat 🙂
Great Happy Hour. I travel to Ft Collins often and have been to many of the local restaurants on the main strip. I went to Jax for the first time and was not disappointed. Food was very good and oysters were great.
