I really want to like La Creperie. Took me almost a year to come back and try it again after my last so so experience, but I love crepes so much that I wanted to try it again since it had just opened last time I was in and hoped it had just been growing pains. Alas, it wasn’t. Still the food was so so. My eggs had to be sent back due to being runny when I asked for them to be over medium and they took forever to come back and when they did they were hard. The rest of the food was just eh!The service was less than par. However, the pastries in the bakery are awesome and that is why I gave them 3 starts.
Lost Its Appeal. I am very sad to see this place move from its Down Town Vibe. I have been to the new location several times and noticed the service & feel have long been gone. The noise level is too loud to carry on a conversation while the feel of being rushed out to turn a table is disappointing. Its sad that greed led to this a perfectly quaint little bistro that had splendid service to just another pack um in diner. If it works don’t mess with it. I bet if they surveyed each table prior to the move they’d of found that folks prefer the hidden gems Down Town.
