  Not Family Friendly. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! We took our family here on a Sunday night about 6:45, not really past the dinner hour but as we started to sit in the back we were told they were trying to close up the back and could we move to the front (the bar). So we were like umm o.k. There was five of us including my twelve and fifteen year old. So we were sat at a table in the middle of the bar. The T.V was so loud I couldn’t hear the waitress. She did ask the Bartender to turn it down and he did. But my 12 year old was already uncomfortable being in the bar anyway when a man at the next table started yelling across the bar at someone and using some profanity a 12 year old doesn’t need to hear so we opted to leave. Fine its the bar and people are drunk I get that but not what I want my kids around and not condusive to a family dinner which we don’t do that often. I bought this Groupon for a family dinner for my son’s birthday. My Groupon however expired on Tuesday so I called the owner to see if he would still honor our Groupon. I started to explain what had happened and he completely cut me off and told me that wasn’t what happened he was told about it right after it happened and we were asked if we wanted to move up front because they had a large party for the Bronco game and the tables were dirty. I said well no that wasn’t what happened and he pretty much told me yes it was you had a choice to move or not and you chose to move. He was completely unprofessional and a complete jerk! I felt completely attacked by him and bewildered by the treatment because he didn’t even know at that point why I was calling. So not a good atmosphere unless you want to get drunk and support a jerk owner.

  Fun place. We love Maya Cove…go there often. Great fresh Caribbean food, friendly folks and customers, neighborhood laid back bar atmosphere, bar seating with big TVs for sports or dining room for quiet atmosphere.

  Very Good!. Been here three times in the past few months. Service is a bit slow, but the food is very good. I’ve had the Jerk Chicken – tasty and tender. Beer selection could be improved given how many local greats we have, but all in all a decent place.
