Non-Existent Service. We occasionally like to stop in at Pappy’s for a drink or for dinner. In the past the service has been good, not great but acceptable. Our service yesterday evening was, well non existent. We sat our selves down as the sign suggested and as we have done many times before. We waited about 15 minutes. At that point I went up to the bar and ordered 2 beers, paid for them, then took them back to our table. Another 15 minutes went by and the larger round table across from us filled up with several people and the waitress was there immediately. She looked over at us, so I knew, she knew we were there. In total, we were there for about an hour and fifteen minutes. At no time did anyone come over to our table, not even once. We were very disappointed and its a real shame because Pappy’s is so close and convenient to where we live but its unlikely that we will return.

He never asked for a name or number, or told us where to pick up the food so we had to guess when we walked in. He did say that it would be about fifteen minutes and we were there promptly to pick up our food and boy were we disappointed. The food had obviously sitting there for a while judging by how soggy everything was. The bar was filthy and covered in spilled beer, our food was practically floating in it, and it took about five minutes for someone to get to the bar to help us. If we weren’t honest people we could have easily walked out without paying.The router was down so it took ten minutes to run our card. I realize that isn’t the server’s fault but it would have been nice for them to have told us instead of us having to ask. While we were waiting we saw one table try to flag down their server three times, every time she just walked right by them.We finally got our food home and the burgers were very under cooked, the side of fries was only about twenty soggy fries, the pickles tasted strangely of acetone and the mozzarella sticks were completely solid in the middle-not the melty delicious-ness I’d been anticipating.Overall, mediocre food, horrible service and filthy bar. Will not be returning here.
Smoking. We have been there a few times and were unable to sit out on the deck due to cigarette smoke. We will not return until this restaurant is totally non smoking. Come on, a smoking area on just part if the deck does not prevent me (and small children) from being exposed to toxins. Bummer, because we do like the beer and food and live very close.
The worst Customer Service ever! Most in friendly waitresses who don’t even know how to change channels in a sports bar. Instead of putting something on left TV’s on screen saver. Will never dine here again and recommend to anyone to pass on by, not worth your time or money
