Best Mexican Food Around. I Love this place! I have been eating at Pobre’s for years and the inferno green chili is the best green chili I’ve ever had! The place is small but it is very clean and the staff is so friendly. I hope this place stays open for years to come. Yum
It was bad, just really bad.. The worst food I have ever tried to eat. We left without eating more then a few bites, but still paid the 82 dollars for the experience. The food taste like the building looks.
Nasty and Rude. The food at this place can hardley be called authenic. The waitress was a short rude girl with a very foul mouth. I could hear her using the f word to the people in the back area(and not in a joking way). Practiclly threw our food on the table at us We had are family and there were 9 of us. Very mad that our small children had to hear this kind of language. The green chili was runny and tasted like flour. I would suggest going to a place that had a better atmosphere for the price. AND NO WE DID NOT TIP THE LITTLE GIRL WITH THE FOUL MOUTH!!!!
Marginal. The food quality was lacking and portions were very small for the price. Service was good and everyone was very nice.
Basic menu, good green chili. I have been eating at Pobre Pancho’s for over a decade now. This small family restuarant has a basic and limited menu, but is best known for their green chili. The green chili is what people come for, and if you are going to try something you should go with the Pacorito or Paco Macho. The Pacorito is basically a burrito with beaf or chicken on top, and the Paco Macho is a burrito stuffed with an enchilada. Although you can ask that the green chili be made spicier for your tastes, I would suggest starting with the base level as it is what has kept this restaurant in business for so many years.
