Don’t Do It!. This so called mexican food was Digusting, and the service was rude to say the least.
Food was delicious! As a native Texan, new to Colorado, I am relieved to find good TexMex! Service was fast and nice. House margarita was just sweet-and-sour, but that’s what I get for ordering a house margarita. Well worth the $20 for this dinner for two.
Wow. Not good. Stay away.
Excellent!. My wife is an avid fan of Mexican food, so we have been to many, many places. This place is our current favorite. Note that they have 2 locations now, with one at the Windsor exit. The flavors are big and bold, but all items are still distinct and well presented on the plate (not a greasy mess with items covering others). As is typical with such places, the servings are very large, and could feed an entire family. Their chip dip (salsa) is fresh and spicy! And they do also serve a warm red sauce for those that prefer it (enchilada sauce maybe?).Lots of shredded meats and Pork Carnitas. Always well cooked. If you do like really spicy, then go for their Diabolo items: these come in a slightly sweet red sauce that is assured to make you feel warm all over – but keep coming back for more :)The decor is traditional Mexican with nice paintings and music (which is not too loud). If you choose the Fort Collins location make sure to sit outside to watch all the passers-by.Professional wait-staff that are not from this country, discreet, and pay close attention to your needs. Everything tried there so far (5 visits) has been very good; even a burger with excellent fries! Don’t pass-up this Mexican restaurant!
Overall a Fantastic Experience. From the moment you hit the doorway you are in for a great experience. We ate during the lunch hour and was seated within a few moments. The salsa was fresh and had a slight kick, but was still enjoyed by our kids. My carne asada tacos were a treat, but the corn tortilla exploded and it did get a bit messy. For dessert be sure to get a to-go cup filled with icy cold horchata, a rice milk that makes the outside world go away and leaves you in a festive mood with hints of cinnamon and milky goodness.
Good Food. I like almost all Mexican food .They have some very nice coupons out for Pueblo Viejo so that in itself is a good reason to try out the restaurant. I think they have pretty good guacamole and their salsa can be hot hot spicy. They do have a mild salsa if that is what you need. The service is very good. The only thing I can complain about is I wish there were more vegetarian options
