  Great FOOD and service. Andrew was awesome. The food was spectacular, the portions were great, and we are leaving the restaurant so happy and content.

  I really wanted to give Rare the full 5 because the service was excellent and the date night atmosphere was perfect. We ordered the antipasto platter which was delicious as was my husbands’ lobster rissoto; however, my dish was lacking in seasoning on every layer from the braised beef and cabbage filling, the homemade pasta, all the way to the truffle butter sauce. I believe that a little more salt and a more robust cheese would have elevated the dish to match it’s extravagant price.

  Fantastic. Seriously. My daughter and I visited on a busy Wednesday night. I loved the decor and the service was smooth. We shared the mixed salad – the crispy shallots were brilliant, and the portion was generous. For our secondi, my daughter devoured the bolognese while I wanted to take my bowl of pappardelle off into a corner where I could lick the bowl in privacy. For our third course, we shared the polpette. The meatballs were tasty, however, my only quibble with the meal was that the beautifully textured polenta was under seasoned. Altogether a lovely meal. I can’t wait to go back.
