Fresh & Delicious Food. I would recommend Saigon Grill to anyone looking for a nice bowl of pho. The broth is delicious and all the ingredients are fresh. The spring rolls and chicken dishes are also delicious. The staff is always friendly and polite. It isn’t the fanciest place, but it sure is good. Really great lunch deals!
Poor Customer Service. I ordered lunch to go and they left out the rice, I called and went back to pick up the rice. Even though I had called and said I would be back in to pick up the rice, the woman in front argued with me that I did actually receive it. She argued with me over 2 cups of rice when they got it wrong! I didn’t go back until today. I thought i would give them one more try. I went in to sit down for lunch at 11:45. There were two other tables. Service was fast, food was all brought out at the same time. Soup, appetizer and entree. So by the time I went to my appetizer, it was cold and my entree kept getting colder. I waited and waited for the check and finally had to get up to ask for it. I didn’t ask for a box because the food was HORRIBLE. It was cold and the crystal rolls were mushy and the shrimp was tough. The dipping sauce was virtually inedible. The egg drop soup was nothing more than chicken stock and corn starch with an eighth of an egg mixed in. The sesame chicken tasted like it was rolled in barbeque sauce and ketchup with a touch of soy sauce and some sesame seeds sprinkled on it for good measure. THE KICKER is when the woman at the front asked me how things were-I said the service was poor and the food was not good. She LITERALLY just walked away from me and muttered something under her breath. Then as I was signing my check, she came back and said that they were just busy. I explained that I was there at 11:45 with two tables and she walked away again!!! Unbelieveable that she would not want to know what was wrong, offer her apologies and/or try to explain a solution. I was not looking for a free lunch, never once asked for that, but the woman was so rude! And sadly, this was the second time the SAME WOMAN was being rude and unhelpful to me when I WAS THE CUSTOMER!! Ridiculous and I will never go back, I urge anyone who appreciates good customer service to take a stand and not frequent this establishment. They obviously do not care about the customer and the food is nothing special.
This is a great little place to discover…great food, quiet, simple, very well priced and owned by a friendly Vietnamese family
