Not good! We had a party of 10 and you would think that they needed to take an add out in the paper to accommodate us. Nobody was here at 5 pm. We ordered at 5:15, got our drinks around 6. They screwed up several drink orders that were identical in every way. Food was loaded with salt. It took a full 30 minutes for us to get the bill after we asked for it. Will not be back.

Great Food, Great Service!. Sonny Lubick Steakhouse is definitely one of the best restaurants in Fort Collins. The quality of the food and service is exceptional and this place is always on the top of my list for places to dine out. Probably the best wine selection in town and also an abundance of top-shelf tequilas. I would recommend the Coach’s Ribeye as the best steak on the menu, with the New York strip as a close second. Be sure to try their soups – they are fantastic!

Always a Good Experience. I’ve been to Sonny’s many times and always enjoy the food, staff, atmosphere, and overall experience. It’s fun to order a salad when they make it at your table and you can choose the ingredients. I’ve had filet mignons, New York strips, sirloins, and burgers, all have been excellent and nicely presented. Certainly worth paying a little extra for, though I don’t find them any more expensive than other local steakhouses or high-end restaurants. If you like great steak, give them a try.

Evening out on the town. The food and service at Sonny’s was great! Very courteous and attentive wait staff who were cooperative and helpful of each other. The meal came to us as we were ready, not when it was convenient for the kitchen. The atmosphere was easy going and the music was downtempo and was a great place to relax and unwind from a long day. The TV’s gave several viewing choices for sports, they even had a screen in the men’s room so we could keep up with the game. I’d recommend it to someone looking for a really good stake dinner with all the trimmings.

Best Steak House in Fort Collins. I want to first start off by saying my girlfriend and I have gone to Lubick’s several times and have never been disappointed. This time we went during Fort Collins Great Plates week and had an experience like no other and an experience that has never been matched anywhere! We sat at the bar as we did not make reservations and honestly it turned out for the best. Our bar tender Bobby was sooo amazing! Not only did he make the best cucumber martini I have ever had (a drink I search for everywhere I go), but he continued to make specialty drinks throughout the night while also pairing a perfect bottle of wine for dinner. You could really tell he loved his job and paid extra attention to his customers. When it came time for our meals, he paced everything out accordingly and even waited an extra hour before we were ready for dessert. The food was to die for and among the prime rib (amazing/best in town) we even ordered Alaskan Pollock and Oysters Rockefeller which were really fresh and had amazing flavor! The whole experience was perfect, relaxed and more than met our expectations! What Bobby didn’t realize is that I am leaving out of town and this was a night for us to spend together before I leave. Thank you Bobby for everything and you are an asset to the Sonny Lubick Steakhouse. As a more than satisfied customer I recommend (if you haven t already) going to Lubick’s for either their incredible happy hour or unparallelled dinner service. Thanks again!

Great Food, Great People, and Great Atmosphere. When it comes to great steak or great bar food, Sonny’s offers both. Brought some friends from out of town to see downtown Fort Collins, and immediately thought of Sonny’s first. Although it was very busy that night we were able to get a spot in the bar area, get great service, and still received our food in a timely manner. We only ate apps that night where we ordered the prime rib nachos (which I have yet to see replicated anywhere I’ve gone) and a sampler platter which had the best bruschetta for the price. I think the bar at Sonny’s is a great spot for to hang an put back a few brews. The best deal in town is the steak burger with a beer for $12. What?!! Nobody charges that! Seriously the best burger in town. Especially when most places here in Fort Collins charge $12 for just the burger and another $4-5 for a beer. You do the math, and then you should head over and just give that burger special a try. It’s totally worth it.

I love Sonny’s. Seldomly do I write a review, of a restaurant, but when that restaurant exceeds my expectations as much as Sonn’y did , I cannot resist boasting. From the mouthwatering appetizers to the decant desserts. Sonny Lubick Steakhouse is the place to be in Fort Collins. I started out my evening with a generous half portion of chicken nachos that were served with sour cream, salsa and their zesty house made guacamole. Although they were delicious I knew that I would need to save room for more food to come. After I set aside my plate a server came to the table to make the salad, that was then followed by one of the best meals that I have ever tasted. I ordered their signature 22 oz porterhouse with a larger sweet potato and a side of their fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato was hot and melted in my mouth. I have never been so satisfied in my life as I was while I was visiting Sonny’s. Although I didn’t enjoy any dessert on this trip I know from experience that the desserts are to die for, (maybe next time I’m in!)
