Ummm….pizza with a hug?. Okay, I own a restaurant so tend to give others quite a bit of leeway, but this was a little much. After wandering in here at 10pm one night in need of some grub (nothing else was open on a sunday that late) we ended up having a few slices. The slices weren’t actually that bad, kinda thin, and imo a little undercooked, but still decent. The bummer part is that we happened to be still standing there when their pizza maker went to throw a new house pie. After spending 10 minutes popping bubbles on the par-baked crust with his bare hands, he went to put the pie in the oven. Instead of the conventional use of a pizza peel, the guy just simply picked up the entire partially cooked, sauced and cheesed pizza with his arms (and chest) and lifted the thing into the oven. Gross.Not too mention that their kitchen was amazingly dirty.Anyway, we all left pretty grossed out. I wouldn’t recommend this place simply out of lack of cleanliness.
