This is a nice choice for a leisurely meal on an evening or weekend. The outside seating also gives you a chance to enjoy some people watching while you wait for your order to arrive. Chicken Satay is always a good judge of quality, and this was moist and flavorful. When matched with a side salad, can provide a lighter satisfying lunch, with not a lot of heat. The spicy basil beef special was amazing and hit all of the right notes with solid flavors and textures.
Expensive!. The restaurant is becoming more and more expensive every time I go there – it is now the most expensive Thai restaurant in FC. They even charge for substituting chicken for tofu! Lunch specials are now $9:50 and it doesnt even have soup! In contrasy most of the Chinese places charge $7ish. I remember ~1 yr back they started charging 5% more for using CC. They had to stop this as its against the Credit company rules. I saw during lunch that someone wanted some more of a side item and the owner quickly told server to charge them extra.Looks like the owners are in big need of money!The server is good though…
