absolutely fabulous service by owner, Seth and bartender, Nick. was not ignored during first drink, asked frequently how I was doing (not annoyingly). advice was offered when I asked what I should order. ended up getting half 415 salad, grilled veggies, and crispy polenta. all fabulous. will definitely come here again for good conversation, excellent cocktails and exquisite small plates.
Guy got this one absolutely right! Best Mac-n-cheese I’ve ever had. Chicken and waffles similar to Steuben’s in Denver. Amazing! A definite favorite. Just when I was giving up on DDD.
I had heard only good things about this restaurant. A friend and I tried it last night and needless to say was very disappointing.I ordered the cauliflower steak and it was the most tasteless dish I have every tried. Way too much kale and no flavor at all. Friend tried the shrimp and grits and this was also awful. Same sauce on both, again way too much kale. Seems like kale was used as a filler.Polenta was also tasteless as well as shrimp.Truly a disappointing exprience and will never go back.
The 415 I have gone to many times and each time the service and food is great!! Yes this restaurant is fairly pricey but the food is amazing and after you eat one bite you don’t want to stop.
Have too much money and don’t care about flavor? Eat here.. I ordered their seasonal stuffed shells, which were supposedly stuffed with butternut squash, sage, and goat cheese, topped with a bechamel and baked. Instead they were charred – as in actually black on top and there was no bechamel to be found. You are not supposed to cut your gums on stuffed shells. The filling had potential but really just tasted like squash. The best thing on my plate was the salad – which was quite good. My companion got the spicy chicken plate. The best thing on his plate was the jalepeno sauce drizzled over the chicken breasts. The chicken itself was under-seasoned, and also overcooked. stringy. dry. the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box, and the greens were similarly under-seasoned. This would all be relatively acceptable if the dishes mentioned cost $7, but they cost $14 each. Even the highly lauded bacon mac-n-cheese appetizer we got was underwhelming. The bacon was perfect, the cheese unremarkable, and the price ridiculous for the portion. There are some good restaurants in Fort Collins, so go to one of those, or drive to Denver and still save money on the dinner.
