This is an intimate affair with great food and even better deserts. This is the perfect indulgence!
Chocolate Cafe. Terrible customer service by the OWNER’S wife. We will never go back.
Special Gem. What a great place to go for dessert. The desserts are artful and yummy and I’m not even a chocolate lover. They have other flavors on the menu besides chocolate. It is a treat and charming. If you haven’t been you should stop by and sit and enjoy a dessert and the charm of this business. This is a real gem in the Fort Collins Restaurant market.
Dessert was delicious! But none of their meals were gluten free, and the waiter told us their paninis are all pre packaged. This is a place to go to for dessert, not dinner!
Very Nice. Three time in and three times happy. Looking forward to our next trip. Excellent bread pudding
DO TRY!!. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The atmosphere is charming, romantic and unique. It can get very loud, so if looking for a quiet romantic date, I suggest going later in the evening or mid afternoon, then you will probably have the place mostly to yourselves. Also- don’t get mad at the waitresses if they are busy. I believe its a family owned restaurant and they are so sweet. They do their best to be accommodating, just be patient and you will be glad you did.NO other drink compares to their chocolate martini and hot chocolate. They are BEYOND divine and decadent, truly amazing. The nice thing about the martini, is it still has liquor in it and doesn’t just taste like chocolate. The hot chocolate is like drinking a liquid brownie. Need I say more? The food is also delicious. I recommend the pizza, soup and grilled cheese, but I’ve also heard great things about the quiche and paninis. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.
