PRICEY, but gourmet. Fabulous, comfortable atmosphere, and great wine list, but be prepared to pay. Servers were educated and entirely attentive, but the wait for the food was long. (New place working out the kinks?) The food is flavorful, but this is like eating American food the French way–smaller portions, served slowly, meant for savoring more than filling you up. Appetizers run $9-20, and you won’t get a signature entree for under $25. The gnocchi is to die for. (The penne boulegnaise was a head scratcher, though. Avoid, tasted like the pasta just came out of a box.) Bottom line: you can drop $40 on a meal here, eat amazing food, and still walk away hungry.
