Horribly disappointing. Used to be my favorite place. Won’t be going ever again. Remodel lacks charm. Tons of wait staff standing around doing nothing. Menu reduced to a single page. Limited choices with high prices. Not only did they eliminate the salad bar, now you pay extra if you want soup or salad with your meal and it’s very ordinary. They don’t even serve bread or rolls anymore. If you sit in the main dining room you feel like you’re at an extension of the bar with the giant tv. The remodel took a lovely place and reduced it to less than ordinary. Save your money and don’t go.
Terrible remodel. Remodeled and reopened in May 2013. What a step backwards! Used to be a charming place with great food and great scotch selection. Now looks terrible with a big ugly beer dispenser, only a handful of entrees on a one page menu, and limited drinks. Hordes of waitresses running around. They are now a poorly done imitation of Applebees or TGIF. Fire the remodeler!
NEWLY Renovated. Excellent blend of old & new. Menu has improved and expanded! New bar area boasts an extensive tap selection!LOVED IT – give it a try if you haven’t been there in awhile!!
Not so much . . .. Basically, I had a bad experience here and won’t be going back. My companion had the salad bar, and had no complaints. I ordered a flank steak dish that was so tough that it was inedible. I let our waitress know the steak was not good, and ate my salad. After about 10 minutes, the manager came out and offered to make me another entree. At that point my companion was almost done eating, so I didn’t order anything else. I found out later that we were charged for the inedible flank steak. Unacceptable.
This was one of the better dining experience I’ve had in a long time..Service was suburb, and the food was literally devine.Everything about our meal was excellent,including the atmosphere.I will come back next time in town;)
Really enjoyed my lunch at Moot House. Great sandwiches with a big variety and a nice salad bar. All in a very cool old school new england setting complete with awesome chairs. Definantly worth a stop.
