Neat place and good ice cream, but pricey. The flavors are neat, the ice cream is good, and I love the history, but it is a bit pricey for what you get. You could eat at cold stone and get two or three mix ins for the same price….it just depends what you want!
The ice cream is fine but guys really wipe the tables off once in a while. I’m so grossed out to have to sit down here. And it’s not just the tables, the whole place just isn’t clean, makes me not want to touch anything. And I’m not even a germophobe.
Great Ice Cream. It’s kind of cheating when you open a store that only serves fresh-made ice cream. How can you mess up ice cream enough to get even a ‘Fair’ rating?Walrus doesn’t fail. They make delicious ice cream with standard flavors and unique combinations. Their prices are reasonable; their service is excellent.As with most ice cream shops, there is not a great deal of seating inside or out. Still – a person could do worse than eating ice cream while standing.
Staple!. Walrus is a staple in Ft Collins, much like the Rio or Horsetooth Mountain. A favorite date nite is to get some ice cream at Walrus and eat it at Everyday Joe’s while listening to some live music. Even in the middle of winter!
Best Ice Cream in Town!. The title says it all! Walrus is a staple of Fort Collins! Their homemade ice cream is well worth the wait compared to going to Ben and Jerry’s down the street.
