Excellent Food ~ Great Pricing. When friends or family come to the County we always head to Frisco for the great food at this small location with big servings for your money. You can not go wrong choosing this location whether you are locals or visiting us in Summit County ~ a must on your list for the foodies. Keep up the great service and remaining consistent with quality for our dollar spent.

Consistently good. I like this place a lot. The owner cooks and his wife runs the cash register. The dinners are large, and if I get one of the three excellent soups that come with the dinner, it’s so filling I take half the meal home. One evening I stopped in just after closing to see if I could get soup to go and they were happy to oblige adding a couple slices of their homemade bread. This started out as a very reasonably priced restaurant but the prices have gone up quite a bit the past couple years. The menu isn’t large but I assume it’s because they are low volume and want to keep everything fresh. I go back because the food is consistently good and I like the owners.

Lack in Culinary Passion. I really wish I could say that I like this place, but my last experience there was below par. I had been there before, but most recently it seemed as though corners were cut as far as food and service staff. The only person who seems to have it straight is the owner, but she welds herself behind the cash register and doesn’t seem to do much else. As far as the food goes, I ordered the free-range chicken ontop of an apple walnut risotto. The chicken was ok, but what should have made the meal was the risotto and as far as I am concerned it was mash! It was overcooked prior to service and when I confronted the server (who didn’t know anything about the food she was serving), she stated that the chef had said that it was a different style of risotto. Now I may sound like a foodie…but I know risotto, and that was not the texture that it should of had. I even confronted the owner on it and she apologized, but I would have expected more from someone who is so passionate about the food that she serves. That being said, I have only had that one bad experience and it was enough for me to not eat my meal, but I still paid for it.

We love this resturant and the owners so much we had my sister’s reversal dinner here. The chef is such an amazing creator of fantastic and unforgettable dishes. Any time you are in Friso you will not be disappointed. A true gem by local SIBA members.

Always Great. You would not expect food like this to be served from a strip mall in Frisco. We eat there ever time we are in the area and have never had a bad meal there. There is minimal service, but the food is the star here. The food is as good as any place in the area. Good selection of wine.

Gourmet gem in strip mall!. We never would have discovered this place if it hadn’t been recommended by a friend and we weren’t really sure what we were in for but the food was amazing! The tomato red bell pepper supper was delicous, we had the steak and the pork chops which were both great and the sides were all very original and good! Finally, we ordered two desserts, the chocolate mousse and the beignets and they were both to die for. Apparently during peak hours they don’t always have a wait staff so it’s set up sort of self-serve but the night we were there, there was plenty of staff on hand and they were very attentive and helpful! Although it’s pricey, it’s definitely worth it and we would eat here again!
