The bbq meat hits the spot. The hoagy style rolls are soft but chewie in a good way. Catfish sandwich was cooked well, throw on extra tartar and pickes and you have a tasty mess to devour.
Q4Who?. This baffles me as to how publications like Sunset, Denver Post, etc….claim this is a great place, much less actual BBQ.It is just another example of how legitimate BBQ places are very few and far between, the further one gets west of the Mississippi River.The meat here is very dry, the sauce, which is so key with any BBQ, is dull and hardly activates any taste bud. The sides are lacking and I could not find one redeeming quality except for the nice service at the counter.Steer Clear.
