This is the number one pizza place in the valley. Has great New Belgium beer on tap. Nice outside seating area. Always friendly always fast lot of good energy number one place to eat out. Love it
The Granny Pesto was absolutely BOMB!!! currently a student at Mesa and I would drive everyday to Fruita if I could to get this pizza. The Stromboli is on a whole different level. Overall the price is very reasonable. Instantly became one of my favorites and I will be returning at least once a week!!
The key is the crust. And the crust here is wonderful- just the right thickness, and baked properly so it is neither soggy nor burnt. From that strong foundation springs a wonderful pizza using good quality ingredients and just the right amount of cheese to be substantial without overwhelming the rest of the pizza. Only tewak I’d aks for new time is a little more sauce on my Skinny Girl.
Perfect end to a day of pedaling!. Quaint little joint that came highly recommended after a long day riding the bike trails nearby. Bike friendly, awesome vibe. They offer a variety of interesting specialty pizzas featuring ingredients like kalamata olives and artichoke hearts. There were so many we wanted to try! Place was PACKED! Definitely a new favorite in the Grand Junction area…we’ll be back again soon!
I like pizza, but can be fussy.. I enjoy pizza – for me it is more about the taste and texture and I consider it better value to pay for quality, rather than quantity. I have heard great reviews about this establishment, but was somewhat skeptical – assuming that in a small town there would be limited choice, so to become king is a little easier. We ordered via phone – the staff was great and very helpful – guiding us easily through the order proceedings whilst accommodating our individual needs. The pizza was on time and just as described – and very tasty – none of the sliced olive stuff – just the right amount of chunky kalamata olives, just the right amount of flavorful sun dried tomatoes and a great blend of artichokes and feta cheese. The dough was just right for my taste – not too thin and not too heavy – overall a great combination. Since we do not live in Fruita, we spend a great deal of time discussing how we can order this pizza in the future and get it back to Moab. Overall – it is hard to get me excited about a pizza, but this was a great experience which I hope to repeat many a times.
I’m from out of town and always love to try local pizza places when I travel. Hot Tomato was delicious and had plenty of vegetarian choices. Staff was friendly, but when dining in I would rather have a waiter take my order than stand in a long line. Definitely worth the wait and I will be returning as often as possible. Best pizza I’ve had in awhile!
Stromboli Or the Sicilian-Style Pizza. Stromboli delicious packed with goodies!
