Worth the Drive. My family & I decided to spend the day in Fruita, about a 90 min drive from our hometown to go swimming. I looked up places to eat in town and Judy’s received high marks. While you might drive past this eatery (located in the end of a small strip mall), you will want to turn around! While the decor is simple, you feel at home, especially with the wait staff. We had a wonderful waitress from Scotland who pampered us to no end. My daughters loved their lunches (kid’s pancake meal and a homemade cinnamon roll w/ sausage) and my chicken salad sandwich with fruit cup was delish! I added an order of onion rings and they were some of the best I’ve had in a long time! On the way out, we saw the fresh baked goods and I could not turn down a gigantic peanut butter cookie–yummy! Be sure to stop at Judy’s if you’re in town!

Hector. I am a regular customer for a good reason. All the staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced.
Friendly, immaculate, great food and value. Traveling through western Colorado again this September … always stop at Judy’s family restaurant for breakfast … homecooking at its best … and now Judy’s granddaughter has opened her own bakery in the restaurant!
This restaurant is a gem! Can’t go wrong with any of the specials. Very friendly staff and clearly a locals’ haunt. I look forward to the next time I get to stop in Fruita and can pay Judy’s a visit!
