What has happened to Cafe 13?. After 3 attempts to have breakfast at Cafe 13 I called to see what time they close on Sunday…they said 1pm and the kitchen closed at 12:45pm. We arrived at 12:40 and was told the kitchen was closed. Finally I was told they would make us a bagel sandwich. I felt like a criminal and as I was waiting all the kitchen help kept looking out at me and I heard a LOUD gross sneeze from someone in the kitchen. O fcourse we didn’t eat it and we will never go back. So sad because it used to be an awesome little place.
No good for vegetarians/vegans.. The place is generally good, and waitstaff is generally nice. I have lived in Golden for 7 years, so I know this place well. However, if you are vegetarian or vegan, the options are slim, and good luck trying to get a drink made with soymilk. Also, you are likely to get a lot of unpleasant attitude about requesting things be made to be vegetarian/vegan or with soymilk.
Simply wonderful. Kay has no clue what she is talking about in prior post. Been here for breakfast and lunch and have enjoyed food & coffee every time. Great menu and excellent service.
