Mediocre at best.The Miso was overpoweringly salty and lacked the depth of flavor i expect.Edemame was in bad shape… I would not have purchased these beans at the grocery.Unagi was prepared beforehand and re-warmed.The super-white tuna was delicious and prepared well as was the red snapper. This was mediocre at best, I may eat here again and order carefully, but it doesn’t compare to Kobe-An or Sushi Den, both with locations close to Golden.
Best Sushi in Denver, Period!. I have eaten sushi all over Denver and all over the US. I lived in Japana and ate it there as well. Halu Sushi is the best you will find outside of LA. Even better than NYC. Been there dozens of times. Always great. Eel rols are superb! Marvin is a great host!

No the r in Japanese is the translation of the l so it’s the same thing but if u wanna b really Japanese it should be Haru. (;
They call it Halu sushi now.
I used to really enjoy Haru, and ate here several times. However, the last time I went, the fish was smelly and tasted borderline rotten. I was eating with 3 other people, and everyone’s plate was of similar quality. I will not to back.
