If you are important, you must eat here. Everyone eating here was very important… just ask them ;)My wife and I had the soup/salad combo for lunch. My Cobb was fair at best. The tomatoes were under ripe, the bacon was under cooked, and although there was a decent amount of blue cheese sprinkles, there was barely enough dressing to touch half of the lettuce. Her Chef Salad was good on meat but the torn sliced cheese they added had no taste at all. She requested the vinaigrette be replaced with ranch, but the salad came out with the vinaigrette. Both soups were ok, nothing to write home about. At a price tag of $28 I was really expecting some great soup and salad.
Cafe Sol is my favorite restaurant in Grand Junction. What it lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up for in consistently good service and excellent food. I’ve been here 15+ times and I’ve never had a bad meal or poor service.
This is a great place to get fresh, healthy food. This is one of the few places that serves quinoa which was very delicious. I also got a smoothie which was one of the best I have had.
