Mediocre sushi for a great price.
Mediocre sushi about what you would expect in the middle of the desert, far from the ocean
I wish Suehiro’s took reservations, it can be a very long wait on weekend nights for a table, especially if you are with a group. That being said, the food here is amazing. I recommend the White Star and Poison Ivy rolls, personal favorites, although everything I have tried has been excellent. What a pleasant surprise to find high-quality fresh sushi in a small town in a landlocked state!
Mixed reviews. The service was pretty good…waiter was kind, un-invasive and attended properly to our drink refills. My husband and I both ordered Yakisoba noodles and a sushi roll to share. After I tried the sushi I said it was the best I had ever had. Perfect textures and flavors, no mushiness or weird after tastes. The sushi was right on delicious. The noodles were good too, but you could find them at any food court fast food chinese gig. They were dry with not a lot of vegetables, and the chicken was extremely dry also without much flavor. Again, I am actually a fan of fast food noodles, so I liked them still, just not so high quality for the type of place it was.
Food is always delicious! The only problem I gave had is that my wife doesn’t eat sushi and when she gets an entree( such as beef tariaki) it comes 20min before my sushi does. Call me crazy but I would like to eat with her.

Wondered where all the people were on main st as it was empty. Entered the restaurant and realised that the entire population of grand junction was eating here. Great service. Very patient. Nice sushi.
