Usually a high end place like this has a pasta dish or something with a lower price point. Not here, so much. The peach martini was good but the peach dessert… Peaches weren’t quite ripe or not quite cooked, and a little bummed that they simply didn’t offer more variety of peach desserts, given the location and that it’s the end of August. The bacon wrapped scallops were wonderful!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The blue cheese filet was cooked medium rare and was perfection combined with the port reduction. The steak fries were huge and crisp. Very few places can do that properly, as the oil has to be very hot. The bread us some kind of yeast roll with a crusty exterior. I saved one to dip in my leftover bacon vinaigrette and port reduction.

Worth every penny!!!. This place is amazing. I have lived in GJ for 26 years and somehow never tried this place till just about a month ago. I had always heard it was high priced and the menu was odd. What people should have said was that the menu was of a food caliper that they don’t understand. I have been there twice in the last month and am already dying to go back. The food melts in my mouth and staff is amazing. 5 star all the mouth.

Consistent. Yes, the food is consistent but never artisitic. The resturant needs a good makeover to update it. It still looks the same as it did when I moved here 23 years ago. Change things up and freshen it up.

Went for birthday dinner after being seated we were forgotten and when we got up to leave they were surprised when my wife and i told them why! Overpriced and snooty staff makes for a bad business in this small town!

Not recommended at all…… First, all the roads at this restaurant are tore up and parking and even finding the restaurant are difficult. We came here for the first time expecting by their website and other comments that this would be an upper scale restaurant. Much to our surprise the restaurant looks and smells like it hasn’t been updated since 1970 and resembled a country buffet. My steak, a ribeye which was 32 dollars was full of gristle and had zero flavor at all. Ive had better ribeyes at chain restaurants including the likes of Applebees….My wifes pork tenderloin medallions was marginal, her Caesar salad was wilted. We decided to split this lemon pound cake dessert which was grilled (yes grilled) and topped with custard and blueberries which had been cooked in merlot wine. I have to admit when we ordered it we were nervous as to what grilled poundcake might taste like; but our sense of adventure said to go ahead and order. The lemon pound cake did taste grilled….. It tasted of beef which had probably just been previously grilled in the same location our pound cake was cooked on. Overall the ambience was very dated. The food wasn’t worth more than half the menu price and it’s a restaurant we won’t be going back too. If I can give the restaurant any kudos, I would have to say our server did a good job of at least providing normal restaurant service.

The food was excellent. Worth the ambiance and price. The service was great and friendly. Very good looking staff. However the maitre’d was snooty with horendous breath and made us feel unwelcome.
