Worth getting familiar. Yes they hire hotties and yes it’s vegas-y elegant, but the kitchen tries interesting things that go well beyond predictable chinese/asian fare. Last night I ordered a short-ribs special and it was really fantastic. The sushi rolls do vary – the fresh non-tempuras are very good, better than many popular sushi places, esp the strawberry with quinoa, refreshing, tasty sauce and well-presented, The dim sum dumpling assortment was mostly excellent. They also try new cocktails periodically, more than just the usual array of saketinis. The staff is indeed good-looking (males too), but the important thing is that they provide knowledgeable and considerate service. Lots of really good things and one of those places that get more rewarding after a few visits.

Not worth it…. I have been here several times now, the food is good but the service is terrible! With so many options for great restaurants I’m taking my appatite and friends to Root Down, where the food and service is great. Don’t waste your time or money here… Go across the street to Pizza Republica or Slaterrys. The food just as good, these restaurants are cleaner and the waitstaff better trained.
Great service!. Our waitress, Mechee (Michelle), was one of the best servers I have ever had. She was very attentive and genuine. We had lots of questions regarding the food because we needed it gluten free. She was incredibly knowledgable about what foods could be prepared gluten free or not. The gluten free sesame chicken – fantastic! While the prices are a little high, the service and atmosphere were great.
The girls working the front desk were awesome! We could not believe how lovely the young ladies were! We only waited 15 mins to get a table in the lounge, you will clearly need reservations for the restaurant. Great food, great prices and excellent atmosphere. We liked the menu, diverse and delicious!!
Service Collapsed. I’ve been eating here for a year and a half and usually had good experiences. Saturday night, service was abysmal. I explained and asked 3 times how I needed a dish prepared. The wait person even came back to confirm how I wanted it. Then it came out the original way which was too spicy for me. Our dining companions app request was ignored completely and they had to beg to get some sweet and sour sauce. food was fine when it was right but I had to rush through my entree because no one listened the first 3 times. I’ll give them another chance but I won’t go on a weekend night.
Classy Classy. Was in town for some business and had the meeting at Jing. This place was the epitome of swanky, in a good way. The Beijing Roast Duck was highly recommended and rightfully so. My peers were having TYKU white sake and I never tried it but it was really refined and smooth. They said if I first tried sake with TYKU white, I’ll be disappointed with anything else. We closed the deal after a few rounds. Thanks Jing and Charlie!
