I had ordered food for two, via grubhub. The food came in 30 minutes later than the scheduled delivery time. When we got to it, it seemed that the condiments and sides were clubbed together or were meant for only 1 person. Worse, the food was cold. I called grubhubback and, afterwards, was told that the restaurant refused to issue a refund. Very unpleasant experience. Would never order from this place, again.

This place is located on suburbs of Denver and serves authentic food. Was glad to see variety in chicken dishes especially anything other than Chicken Vindaloo. Ordered Chicken Nilgiri and Chapati to go. Chicken Nilgiri had white curry, but the spices made it really good in taste. It was hot. Chapati was big and was really like a chapati I would expect in India. Masala Dosa was average served with Sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney. Quick service good food and average prices. Decor not much interesting.

New Indian Cafe is known for its buffet lunch. The place is heavily crowded during lunch time and if you don’t preplan and book your seat, be prepared to wait for 40-45 mins to get seated. The buffet is cheap and has loads of items to choose from. The hyderabadi biryani is good – fresh spices and succulent chicken. The starters are ordinary and so are the gravy items. Gravy items are extremely spicy. Like all other indian restaurants in USA – this joint also uses permitted food color which I strongly dislike. They serve hot dosa on your table which is pretty good if you are fond of South Indian foods. The staffs are friendly but same problem like any other buffet joints – the food trays keep getting empty and there is no one available to fill it up again.Overall moderate experience at this joint.

Craving some Indian food and living quite close by, I decided to grab some take-away and come home to enjoy it. I ordered the Dal Makhani, Tandoori Roti and Garlic Naan. Good food overall, the Makhani was spicy and I got a free side order of rice with it as well. I ordered some Gulab Jamuns to top off the meal and I was surprised for the quantity I got (most places serve about 2-3 but I got 5 over here). Very reasonably priced overall as I paid 20$ for everything, and good portion sizes as well. I went back to try some South Indian Dosa on a Sunday (not realizing that they have a buffet set up for lunch) and my heart almost broke when I found out I couldn’t have some dosa. However, the staff was super friendly and specially requested the chef and I got my Egg Masala Dosa!! That is a dosa with beaten egg poured all over the dosa, kind of like an omelet stuffed with potatoes and spices. It was all I expected and more, the portion size was huge, the Sambar was good, but the Chutneys were just okay. I also ordered a Sweet Lassi, but that wasn’t very cold, thick or sweet, so I think you can skip that drink and try something else when you go.
