Very Disappointed!. WE decided on Wooden Table because we had heard that it was an upscale restaurant. We were very disappointed with the service and the portion size. First we sat for 20 minutes before I had to get up and ask for someone to take our order. Not good so far! After ordering, it took 45 minutes to get our food. When the food did come, the inside of my scallops were actually cold. Strike three you’re out. Overall service was marginal. We had to keep asking for more bread because the meal took so long to be served. They kept offering a slice or two of bread as we sat there. It would have been better to just leave a generous basket in the beginning and not be so stingy. Expensive and not worth the price.Menu is also somewhat limited.

It was very good. For my entree, I chose the Ricotta Cavatelli (which was highly recommended by our server). I found my entree very rich AND WAY TOO SALTY. I could not finish it. We finished with a Blueberry and Mascarpone Crespella for dessert. It was described as being a crepe BUT is was so dense. Flavorful but too heavy. The noise level in the restaurant was on the high side. It was hard to carry on a conversation.

Not going back. Just popped in on this newer neighborhood strip mall restaurant to check it out and we could not be more disappointed. I don’t have a review of the food because an hour after ordering, we still did not have it on our table. We told our waiter we had to leave for a show and we could not wait any longer. So he brought us our bill and much to our surprise it was $95! I guess that was a $90 bottle of wine that the waiter offered us when we sat down. Shame on us for not asking the price I guess. (who knew strip mall restaurants had $90 bottles of Chianti!)We understand, you can’t always be at your best which is fine.. we paid our bill and accepted that… but then the manager came over, Rudy, he started to apologize and completely threw his waiter under the bus. Said that he was not his best waiter and that he wanted to make sure we knew it was not the kitchens fault. I told Rudy that was one of the most unprofessional displays of customer service I had ever experienced. This manager had a chance to make things right for an unfortunate dining experience and he completely botched it. Can’t imagine a place that treats their employees this way will be around much longer.
