I was expecting more, given the reviews. Food was mediocre. Waiter kept forgetting me, service was very slow and it wasn’t very busy while I was there. Just an ok experience. Unlikely I will go back.

Great Food and Service.. Sometimes when you have a large group, you just hope that the waiters can keep up and that the food comes out in a timely manner, and that things will go smoothly. We booked the private room for 17 people at Ya Ya’s on a busy Friday night, and hoped for the best. Well….we got the best! Elliot was one of the best waiters…ever. He was great to deal with, knew the menu and wine list…and he was funny. AND he knew Spanish, which with this group was a bonus. The food was great all around….especially the shrimp bisque. Good call Elliot! My steak was great, as was everything else I tasted. Thanks Elliot, and Ya Ya’s for a really nice night.

Great brunch! A little of everything, the Bloody Mary Bar is tops, and the bacon pancakes are delightful. Make sure to get a profiterole, the ganache is perfect. Our waiter was so sweet, very on top of his game. New SUN tradition!!

Keeps Getting Better. Yia Yia’s has improved drastically since first opening. The food is top shelf. I enjoyed the roast chicke, superb. My wife had the lamb risotto. She can’t stop raving about it. Our appetizer was great. Don’t miss the baba ganoush. Like none other. And the staff is so nice too. Will return many times.

We went to Ya Ya’s durning restaurant week, so we knew they were going to be busy. We had 7:45 reservations on 3/2/13. Neither of us had been there before and we were very excited. The place is nicely decorated. Crowded, but again we anticipated it. We didn’t wait long for a table; however that’s when everything started to head south. We were taken to a table they had just put in the middle of the floor; literally we saw them setting the whole thing up. When the hostess took us to the table there wasn’t even room to pull out the chair; you could see the look of disbelief on both our faces. Once the table was turned a few times we made ourselves as comfortable as we could. Our hostess told us she was going to tell a manager about this as they want everyone to be pleased with their experience when they come to Ya Ya’s. We take our menus and review what it is we’re going to eat. Our server comes by and as pleasant as she was she could see we weren’t. She said she give us a few to review the menu and would be back to take our order. In the mean time the manager Brad came by and apologized for the situation and offered us a bottle of champagne. We, of course, graciously accepted and he turned away to get us a bottle. (Trust me this story gets better) he returns with the bottle and pours us both a glass, goes to place the bottle in the chiller, which has been placed on our table and when he pushed down on the bottle to get it in the ice further, the table tips!!! He catches it, looks at us, and walks away!!! Further into dinner our server comes by and moved the water container, and we ask her to put it back as its balancing the table; she looked so confused and tested this theory for herself, and to no avail was shocked to find it true. Shorty there after our food comes. The gentleman presenting our dishes apologies for his reach and places a dish on the table, while at the same time leaning in the table and of course finds that he almost wore our entire table. With all that, I’d still go back! The food was great. The service was wonderful and what are the odds of this happening to us again, here??!! We’ll keep you posted! The food is to die for! Everything was great; even though I had my hand clinched to hard to the table to prevent it from going over the entire time!

Mediocre. We went here for lunch and I was not impressed. I do not mind paying for a good quality, well prepared meal, but unfortunately, our lunches were neither. The arugula was not fresh and there was crab shell in my salad. Another salad had wilted lettuce and the service was very mediocre. I was disappointed with the experience today and would not recommend dining here. Especially for how overpriced it is.
