Beer isn’t good.. Ate dinner with the family last night. Western pork sandwich almost to dry to eat. Burger cooked medium really dry. Beer, tried 5 different samples and amber was only one that was marginal. IPA was horrible. I try to stop at brew pubs on all trips, this one isn’t worth a stop.

This is the worse place you could possibly eat. The servers are untrained and slow. Managers? Pathetic slugs who are never around. Avoid at all cost

My husband likes the brew but the burger gets a ‘C’ – it was the pre-formed Sysco type. Fun atmosphere.03 Jun, 2014Fun atmosphere but food gets a ‘C’. Burgers are the pre-formed Cisco type…

Tourist Trap. Yes, they are famous in Colorado for their Root Beer, but it ranks about 7th on my list, and I have probably tasted a grand total of 7 Root Beers. The service was not good, the smell of the beer overwhelmed the whole restaurant, and the food was so-so.The chili was decent, but had a sweet taste, which is not what I look for in chili.Booths were very uncomfortable, as well. Oh well, I tried.

We’re in Colorado for only a week. Do you think we could convince you folks to move to Texas? Texas would welcome you with open arms! We’re already looking into renting a house in Idaho Springs for next year’s trip so ee won’t have so far to drive! We tried several different beers! It’s the kind of beer you can roll around in your mouth to get the most flavor possible! We also enjoyed many food items including the green chili burger, the fish & chips, fish tacos, the green pork chili, & the homemade bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos. It was so good we went back two days in a row. It’s too bad we have to head home or we would fit in one more trip!

Popper hamburger with fries or rings really good but pepper come sliced and unseeded so a little hot. Buffalo burrito and green chile good but would have preferred buffalo meat chopped or shredded not ground.
