Quite good. My wife and I went here with my sister and nieces at Christmas. Super friendly staff made the experience great. Our chili con queso was delicious, the chips didn’t taste like they came out of a bag, and the salsa and bean dip were really good. I ordered the baja fish tacos and they were very good; crisp, fresh cabbage and a tasty sauce. The adults had a few peach margaritas, which were excellent. Finished with an apple chimi and fried ice cream. Very pleased with the whole experience, and have already recommended it to family.

Not very good. Only went once, and that was more than enough. Anyone who likes this place must be from Rhode Island and completely unaware of what to expect. Food is just not seasoned well. Rates down there with Chipotle in my book.

Questionable. Nice decor… expensive, left feeling hungry. Ok food, I wish we could find a really great Mexican restaurant! I don’t think we will be returning.

Disappointing. I don’t know where other reviewers have eaten Mexican food, but this was not good. The only reason I stopped there was because it was close to my brother’s house, and he was moving out of state so I took him to lunch. There was only 1 other couple in the entire place. Sure, the decor was nice, and (obviously) very quiet. But the food? My carnitas were cold, tough, and absolutely flavorless. I couldn’t believe it. The guac? I didn’t get any ‘table presentation’ (wasn’t even a consideration for me), but it was bland, and served on my plate with a ice crem type scoop. The salsa was good, but that’s about it. My brother didn’t care much for his burrito either, so it’s not just me. I don’t work for any restaurant, nor do I have any ties to any one. I grew up in a restaurant working for my family though, and this just isn’t good, it’s mediocre at best. I know a single visit to a restaurant can mean the difference between a regular customer, and one that won’t. I sure won’t. There are plenty of places on W 44th and closer that serve far better food.

AWESOME!!. I don’t usually take the time to review restaurants, but this place is truely a GREAT experience. The service is as good as the food. This isn’t your average place. They far exceeded any other place I’ve been for Mexican food! Hidden jewel! We visited here to find a place for a wedding rehearsal dinner. They definitely have our business! Our family’s new favorite place!

The gaucamole was awesome a little pricey but good, lots of choices on the menu, even vegetarian options, the atmosphere was quaint and the service was good, definitely worth the try and multiple visits

What to try next?. Hidden Gem. I love this place. We probably hit it once every 2 weeks. You HAVE TO order the homemade guacamole… Made fresh at your table.. then the gooey cheesy meals start rolling in. What makes this place so great is that it’s flat out GOOD food. Not your typical slap beans on the plate & let it sit under a lamp. I’ve gone through the fish taco like they were going out of style. Chicken Mole was great, & there’s this other dish I can’t think of that’s HOT but sooo good. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been met by the owner, she’s great, and the staff? They are like hot is on a pepper. Ready to refill your drink before you can set your glass back down… Phenomenal. If you need to experience what good food and good service is and are a Mexican Food snob, this is your place.
