One of the best breakfast I’ve had, ever! Worth the drive from Highlands Ranch. Place gets busy and they don’t seat incomplete parties so keep that in mind. If you can’t find something you’ll like on the menu then you aren’t hungry! WOW!

Good Food, unhappy staff. Good expensive $$$$ food, but unhappy working environment. We usually go to Wildflower in evergreen. Less expensive, the best breakfast potatoes anywhere and HAPPY environment. Both places are a bit cramped, but the happy staff and potatoes are what puts wildflower over the top.21 Apr, 2014Pros: good food Cons: too e…. Multiple BAD Experiences equals Never Going Back. The Country Roads Caf used to be a good place to eat, but now the food quality has deteriorated, the prices have increased, and the service is deplorable. One of the underlying problems is there are a limited number of restaurants in the area, so this place is busy. As a result, the staff and management seem to have lost sight of how to treat people. To sum up my experience, they are rude, unfriendly, and truly dont seem to care if you are happy or not. In fact, if you express displeasure, they may opt to refuse service, tell you to leave, or as I read in another review, ask you to step outside to settle matters.Today really sealed the deal that we will never step foot in this place again. Our extended family (8 total) waited to be seated for a long time, even though there were many empty tables. This wasnt a problem for us, as we were just talking outside in the parking lot, since there is no indoor waiting area. While waiting , my wife was drinking bottle of green tea. When they finally called our name to be seated, she brought in the green tea bottle that she was just finishing. She told the waiter that she was just finishing and that she would like a coffee. The waiter left and came back 30 seconds later, with his hand outstretched, demanding that she hand over what was left of her green tea. There are good ways to convey a message and bad ways. This guy was intent on embarrassing her as he demanded the bottle again, while reaching for it. She said, I will finish this right this second or I can run it out to my car. He said she would have to take it outside right away, so she did. Before returning to the table, she discretely asked to speak to a manager simply to share the fact that the waiter behaved as if she was a criminal and embarrassed her in front of everyone. After speaking to the manager, she returned to the table. Shortly thereafter, the waiter came to our table and told us they would not serve us and that we needed to leave immediately. There were looks of disbelief on all of our faces as we left the restaurant. We went to the Bear Creek Restaurant, which is also in Kittredge. When we sat down, we were talking about what had just happened at the Country Roads Caf. The funny thing is, there were several other parties in that restaurant that overheard our conversation and started chiming in with horror stories of their own. One party said the Country Road Caf has a reputation of treating people poorly. He said, as long as they have a line at the front door, they will likely continue to treat people this way. On a side note, the Bear Creek Restaurant had better tasting food, it is less expensive, the staff is good, and our table overlooked Bear Creek. In November, I took my Mom to the Country Roads Caf for her Birthday. The food took a very long time and it came out cold. We ate it anyway, without complaining. We were paying our bill and chatting for a few minutes preparing to leave, when the waiter told us in an unfriendly manner that we needed to leave. We have felt pushed out of this place on other occasions, as well. I guess funneling in the next person is more important than finishing the current patrons experience on a positive note.If you are feeling good and want something to bring you down, eat at Country Roads Caf. If your experience is like mine, you should be prepared to wait for a table outside in the cold, do not complain about anything at the risk of being asked to leave, and when you are done eating, leave immediately or you will be asked to leave.

Large serving sizes. Great flavor. Nice outdoor seating area. Good place to eat breakfast on a Saturday morning motorcycle ride. Regularly lukewarm & weak coffee is my only complaint. I like it piping hot!

Excellent Lunch!!. I love this place. It is a good stand by for breakfast and lunch. I think they are open until 2 or 3pm? I always bring guests and recommend to people from out of town and they rave about it. The truffle fries are an excellent choice and it is fun to order from the creative menu.
