Really nice waitresses at the Arapahoe and Clinton location, which really adds to the fun atmosphere, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Very average food at best. I wish I could say I enjoyed it more, but overall I have to give it a dislike.
Great Shakes and Malts!. We visited Gunther Toody’s for the first time three days ago. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. The chocolate malts and shakes were very, very good! The burgers and fries were good and the servings were large. They cut and bread their own chicken fingers, which my daughter loved. We’ll be back!
Gunther Snooties. Snooty waitresses at the Wadsworth and Bowles location rule the roost at this place, most of them fat and with attitude. Give them an inch to unload their attitudes and they will make sure you wish you never showed up on their turf, whether they were provoked or not.I would rather believe that management coaches them to treat single men this way who show up at this place alone, but they do such a fine job of being obnoxious and rude they can have all the credit.I remember the 50s and 60s. This was not it.
Fun!. This is a really fun restaurant! They play classic oldie’s music, have the place decorated in 50’s and 60’s memorabilia and serve food that we all relate that time to.Their malts and burgers are great. Their regular sandwiches are a bit lacking. The Elvis Fries are yummy( fries with sausage gravy on them!) This is a fun place to take the whole family. The service is great about 80% of the time. The other 20% can definitely be improved.
