Fantastic!!. This place used to be bad, but reinvented itself lady year. The service has steadily gotten better and is always friendly. The smoke their own meat and the BBQ is really good. The hawkeye, the bulldog, and the combo plate stick out for me. The ral stars of the menu are the candied bacon and onion rings. They are some of the best I’ve ever had. Exceptional Deck, local beers, great BBQ with house made sauce……this place is a must visit.
Inconsistent and usually not good. Maybe because they have the best deck in town they don’t feel they need to have good service or consistently good food. Alas, the service is almost always dreadful and, while I’ve had some very good food here, usually it’s just not very good. I go back sometimes because I forget the experience, and because I WANT the food to be good. I’m almost always disappointed.
