Poor service, not enough waitstaff for a Saturday night. We came here once before, food and service were excellent. Tonight however, this was not the case. We were seated quickly as we had reservations, and the waitress seemed pleasant enough, but tonight, the service was horrible, the food was so-so, and we had to ask for our salad, and ask for our check. We were very disappointed with the outcome of the very special evening we had planned.The people behind us and the people beside us were also asking for services that had not been provided. I.e. Do you think we can get our bread we been here over an hour? It was not a pleasant evening.We’re disappointed with the experience as we had always felt that Angelina’s was a home restaurant and catered to special attention.
Terrible service. Arrived tonight at 6:30 and we were asked if we had reservations and we told her that we did not. She told us our wait would be a half hour. There were many empty tables in this small restaurant but we figured that there must be people coming that did have reservations. We sat there ignored for 50 minutes. In the meantime 3 table groups left and not one person came in. She never even looked at us again. By then even a few of the people that were still sitting at tables started to turn around and look at us with some sympathy. We really felt as though we were not wanted there. We finally ended up leaving at 7:30 and walked down to Chipotle. Very rude. We will never return.
Valentine Value. The dinner we had yesterday was GREAT. The menu was a smaller prix fix than usual but still had something for everyone. My wife and I shared the antipasti appetizer which included the owners home made Mozzarella; it was fabulous. We each had a salad which were crisp and with just the right amount of dressing. For a main course my wife had the Chicken with vodka sauce which she loved. I had the Ravioli with sausage dish which was perfect. The Tiramisu topped off a wonderful evening. The waitstaff was friendly and always there attentive. Not a single complaint; we’ll definitely be back.
