Sunday brunch was overpriced and disappointing. Very few fresh items only get some tired melons on the fruit tray. Selections were heavy foods and not real healthy or attractive. Staff was friendly and about average. Expected a lot more
Great service and attention to detail. Went here for anniversary. Joe and Jeff were great waiters and food was very well presented. A few notes: beet salad seemed a bit light on beets and the filet mignons were a bit on the salty side. Juicy and tender and very well prepared to our order. Great steak place in Denver west.
Special…. We have a second home in Lakewood, CO. Dined at Simms in November of 2011 for our anniversary…excellent experience. Let them know when you make your reservation, they have a special treat for you! My sister dined at Simms in August and had a stellar report. We returned in September of 2012, and were equally as impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The food, presentation and service are excellent. We have not enjoyed the outside deck yet, but will return for cocktails in November. Highly recommend Simms!
Disappointed. My wife and I were looking forward to a good breakfast and made the mistake of going to Simms Steakhouse. In a nutshell, evrything I selected seemed old, as if sitting out overnight. The potatoes were dried-up, the vegetables cold and withered like last-night’s left-overs. The French toast was kinda rubbery but the maple syrup was good and hot. I thought I would try something fresh so I went for a waffle, it turned out doughy, uncooked in the middle. My wife tried the crab legs, soggy and shells very soft, overcooked??Our visit there was disappointing and topped off with a bill in excess of $50.00!! Had no idea this disappointing brunch was $24.95.
Brunch on 11/27/2011. Was very dissappointing. Everything was cold, except for the fried eggs. They were cooked as you waited so of course they were hot. The bisquits were cold and dry and they gravy was cold. Probably wom’t be going there again.
Great beef, splendid views. Dinner for 3 with wine or cocktail for each came to $ 239, with tax and tip. Servers were overwhelmed with 5 tables each instead of 2-3, and our server Amber had to bus her tables as well as serve.
What a great night. Everyone should go to Simms steakhouse. My daughters wedding reception dinner was held at Simms on Friday night. It was great to be welcomed at the dorr. The staff was outstanding! The food was the best! The veiw of the city is wonderful! Everyone who lives or vists the Denver area should go to Simms. Thanks for a wonderful night!
