Avg price is $15 for dinner. Expensive for what you get – a lot of noodles w/out a lot of meat/veggies. No condiments on the table. Overall felt like they were cutting corners.

Not so great. We stopped in for dinner after a long debate between Vietnamese and Thai and I sure wish we had gone with Vietnamese instead. It was ok, but not worth the price and lacking the wonderful subtlety of seasoning that I think makes Thai food so great. The peanut curry was sweet–really, really sweet, without much curry flavor. Lots of sauce, not much substance, just a few vegetables mixed in with meat, so nothing in it to cut the sweetness or add texture to the plate full of of thick, peanutty sauce. The Pad Thai was ok, but with a distinct fish sauce flavor that I’ve never experienced with that dish before. Usually the flavors of Thai food blend so much better without any one flavor dominating. The cheesecake was still slightly frozen. The Drunken noodles were good, and the service was efficient and impersonal, which is how I like it, but I won’t go again.

Hidden Treasure. Tucked back in a run-down parking lot that smells like a sewage pipe has exploded is Thai Bistro. Being new to Thai food the appearance of this place from the parking lot was a bit concerning. I expected to walk in and clearly spot at least half a dozen health violations. What appeared on the outside to be a little hole in the wall establishment was anything but. I felt like Jack Sparrow discovering an island filled with long lost treasure and rum. Thai food has become my latest love affair. I just cant ever seem resist the temptations of the delectable Thai iced coffee and mouthwatering curries. The entrance was filled with awards and Thai history which didnt really impress me all that much. As I turned the corner I felt like a stepped into a cultural retreat. The artwork was stunning and elegant. The layout was open and inviting with many sleek leather booths all complemented with old fashion lanterns. The lighting was dim and the music was smooth. The shades were closed so as not to let the ugly parking lot remind me where I really was. The staff awaited my entrance with warm and bright smiles. They looked happy to see me and ready to assist me in my dinning experience. They were sharply dresses in black and red with aprons down to their ankles. It was obvious that the staff actually got ready before work. My waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and making beneficial suggestions. She always made a point to catch eye contact with me every time she walked past my table. She was appropriately attentive and refreshingly pleasant.I started with a Thai iced coffee of an affordable price of $3. The presentation was dreamy served in a tall narrow glass displaying the cream and coffee swirled together. I love an exceptional coffee drink almost as much as I love curry. I savored every sip of this liquid sweetness. I even made the obnoxious sucking sounds when I got to the bottom. I wasnt going to waste one drop. I also treated myself to some garden rolls as an appetizer costing $6.50 which I thought was a bit step but I did it anyway. When the rolls arrived they modeled what I would imagine spring rolls on steroids to look like. I could barely fit my mouth around the bail of lettuce and soft avocado mixed with flavorful carrots wrapped in rice paper complemented by a fruity peanut sauce. I was shocked that vegetables could be so satisfying. With room running short in my stomach my entre arrived. A large plate of yellow curry with chicken, running a reasonable price of $13.50, was delivered piping hot with a small bowl of rice on the side. I prefer to be served with an extra plate so I can proportion my meal to my satisfaction, but I thought Id try it this way tonight. The dish was a colorful spread with red and green peppers, potatoes, carrots cut into flower wedges, chunks of chicken, and a rich yellow sauce. The vegetable were cooked just right. They had the ideal amount of firmness and contained their original flavor. Some places cook their vegetables to long and turn them into bland mush foliage. The potatoes were a starchy sidekick to the moist chicken chunks. The curry sauce was sensational. I typically get my curry very spicy but tonight I decided to try it medium. Medium spice was just right for me. I could finish the whole plate without having to chase it with a roll of tums. The sweet and spicy flavors tangoed on my taste buds and did the salsa down my throat. I couldnt finish my plate but I was no way leaving without it in a doggy bag. I even grabbed a to-go order for my family at home. I cant wait to bring them here with me next time!

Thai bistro–good????. 7/03/2012This restaurant is under new management with new chef, the coconut soup was too sweet and greasy, the classic thai spice was too salty and nasty, could not even eat it. The food was terrible as was the service, have been going to Thai Bistro since they opened. After ths last experience will never return.

Absolutely fantastic drunken noodles! Gives wild ginger a run for their money.

Desperately trying to find a quick Thai place in Littleton, we settled on Thai Bistro. Man, we couldn’t have made a worse decision. The poor service was outdone only by even worse food. Which is all fine if you’re not paying 16 dollars a plate, but since it had the high price tag along with awful food and service, I will NEVER eat there again!
