Lured in by great fiery window graphics and a flaming logo, we had no idea what we were walking into for the evening. Welcomed by loud music and friendly staff, we quickly learned that Rock means rock music. The patterned laden booth fabric was all rock songs and the decor was fallen brick and roadie cases. We thoroughly enjoyed their large, craft beer selection (chocolate porter and amber) and started with a round of Im in heaven beer battered french fries. Being there were no rotisserie chickens to be found, we settled on a wood fired pizza, 1/2 Revolution (BBQ pulled pork, pineapple, roasted red and green peppers drizzled with the best BBQ sauce) and 1/2 Meaty, Beaty, Big and Bouncy. We were expecting a meaty meat pizza and although the flavors were great, I did wonder, wheres the meat? We ended the evening with a wonderfully, oozie warm, chocolate cookie birthday surprise, which made my day! All in all, a great place and our highly knowledgable and personal server, Ciarah, was fantastic. BTW – I would have rated it higher had they turned the music down just one notch when I mentioned how loud it was in the place. cinfullysimple.com
We had a terrible waitress with the worst customer service ever! She left in the middle of us giving our order to take the next table’s order while I was still ordering! She said she didnt have time to wait on us because she literally had 2 other tables in the whole restaurant on a monday night. She lost over $300 in sales because we walked out and I will never go back there again.
Terrible. One Sunday afternoon, my mom and my son and I were hungry for some great pizza, we had never been to The Rock before. We sat down in a full dining room. There was one table of people who were eating salads, no one else had food at the table. Soon, their pizza arrived, around the same time we were placing our order. After our ice teas were empty, we were getting really tired of waiting for our pizza to come, but, our waiter- some goofball with star tattoo on his eye- was no where to be seen. We noticed the cooks that were making the dough were eating slices of pizza the entire time we were there. 45 mins into the terrible service, we noticed no other patrons had gotten their food either. After 60 mins of waiting, our waiter never came to explain why it was taking so long, or to offer us more ice tea, or anything. We finally left. Wont ever return to this place. It was ridiculous.
