My bad experience!!. I have been going too the hut for a few years noand this was the first time I felt I was treat badly…i went to purchase 4lbs of crawfish which were already overpriced @10.00 per pound & also a pound of shrimp that were $11.00 per pound..the shrimp were over cooked to where they were soggie and mushy in the middle….I ended up not eating half off them…the crawfish were so small I ended up not eating about a pound of them…a complete waste of money this time around..I would have took them back but I live 45 mins away from the yubby hut..It may be a long time before I go back, if I don’t find anything better..BAD EXPERIENCE -WASTE OF HARD EARNED $$$
The food and service are outstanding for such a unique restaurant in CO. Clean oysters, great crawfish, crab and lobster but don’t miss the dessert, the hidden treasure was amazing and so was the fried banana. Excellent and fun!!!!
My husband and I have eaten in New Orleans many times and The Yabby Hut is not good. Pros-The fried fish, French fries and wings were good. Anything fried is good by the way! The waiter was very nice. Cons-Gumbo absolutely bland and terrible-small bits of celery and sausage. The salad was from a bag. Only 2 items on the entire menu were fresh and we appreciated the waiter for being honest. This specialty place will not last long.:(
This is the way you order- 2lbs of crawfish, 2lbs of shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, and sausage. Cold beer.
My new favorite place. The XXX creole sauce on anything is B-A!! Very simmilar too the Hot And Spicey Crawfish in Vegas.
Waste of time and money!. We carried out for the first and last time at this restaurant. They messed up two of our items and completely forgot three items. Then refused to do anything to make it right when we raised our concern. Worst customer service and average food at best.
So much fun!. Went with my family and everyone was raving! We had clams, crawfish, shrimp and dungeness crab. Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. If you haven’t eaten here before, be prepared to get messy! Your food is served in a bag which you dump out on the table. Don’t worry, you get a full roll of paper towels and a bib 🙂
