We live around the corner so this is one of our top picks. I only get the fish and chips and they are the most delicious and best made anywhere in the country. They are super crispy on the outside and moist and flaky inside. Not soggy at all. Happy hour drafts are pretty reasonable.
Wonderful happy hour to compliment a great pub menu. You can enjoy a fire on the patio, or grab a seat inside to listen to listen to great tunes.
I like the fish, STONE IPA, patio, cute wait-staff. Otherwise a little chainy and a lot of mediocre beer. Heineken Light? WTF?
Great Food – Lousy Service. Coworkers went to the Belmar location for lunch. Service was terribly slow. Halfway through lunch I placed an order to go for another coworker. I had to remind the waitress 3 times about the to go order. She brought the bill and the to go box was on it. It took an addition 20 minutes AFTER we were ready to leave to get the to go order of fish and chips. A lunch that should have taken an hour took over 1 1/2 hours.
Excellent!! Food is fresh and well prepared. Service is courteous and prompt. Atmosphere is delightful and well kept. Highly recommended!!
Try the Scotch Eggs!. We were feeling adventurous….and we’re so glad we tried them! Just wish I came with more of them. Also, the yellow stuff is HOT mustard.
A tad cliche-y but if you look past that there’s a great menu, plenty of variety and reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly. Location is great for travellers staying at Best Western Golden Buff Lodge next door. Loved the free wifi.
