You know when you pay upwards of $10 for a large Pho and your meal comes out in a small portion size just in a bigger bowl? Frustrating! Pho 99 is not like that at all! Bigger sizes come with more protein and more noodles! Their food is consistently delicious and service is quick. Vegan and vegetarian options are available on the menu as well as traditional Chinese-American dishes like sesame chicken if pho is not for you. Definitely one of my favorite Pho restaurants so far!!Update: 4.5 –> 3.0Unfortunately, Pho 99 underwent a change in ownership. Although the food has not changed much and is still delicious, restaurant service has slipped out of existence. Our party waited for over 45 minutes for our food, after normal lunch rush hours, only to find that the waiter never put our order in… waitstaff weren’t very apologetic and the management made no effort to compensate us for the mistake. However, the pho is still phenomenal but food this good is hardly worth being forgotten about.Update: 3.0 –> 4.0Rating: Tell Your FriendsDecided to give Pho 99 another chance and I am delighted to say they have gotten their act together! Pho is still phenomenal! Broth is traditional tasting and steaming hot to cook rare steak in. Soup does have cilantro and yellow onions included. Despite having a full house, our meal was received in an appropriate amount of time. Highly recommend and back on the favorites list!
