Awesome food. Probably the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Everything tastes fresh and made well. The owner is very nice. Kind of a long wait, but I suspect that’s because the food rocks.
Still the BEST! The house made Italian dressing is phenomenal, and you cannot beat the Homemade Spaghetti with Meatballs, the Stuffed Shells, and oh my goodness, that cannoli! Consistently FANTASTIC FOOD and exceptional service at our favorite comfy, welcoming family friendly restaurant. We’ve been coming here for 20+ years – It’s a gem!
Nice little family restaurant.. We were a table of six. Yes, the decor is a bit dated. But, believe me, that is not a determent to eating here. Everything was homemade, hot and large quantities. My spouse had the ceasar salad and the eggplant parm, he loved both dishes. The eggplant was sliced thin and the sauce was fresh, with homemade sausage. I had mushroom soup which was thick, creamy, loaded with fresh mushrooms. My entree was shrimp alfredo and it was great. The sauce was thick and creamy, the shrimp were large, and cooked perfectly. The pasta was linguine and cook a la dente. The diners with us had the Basil chicken over pasta, the small calzone ( come hungry, its huge), the ravioli with red sauce and sausages, and the regular spegahetti with sausage. All were great. The ingredients were fresh, the table was clean, the servor(Jordan) was great! Come hungry,as you will get alot.
Great food, unusual service. A glass shatters as the drink splashes across the table, over the cell phone, and onto a womans lap. I sat there in a booth at Romanos located in Downtown Littleton trying my best not to stare at the woman screaming at the server. I would feel bad for the woman if I wasnt a server myself. If youre about to receive your food at a restaurant, dont have your phone on the table. The first thing I noticed about my server is that he is the same man that just ruined that ladys phone. Personally, I enjoy when my server suggests items to me from the menu. My server did not meet this expectation. I indirectly hinted at struggling to find something worth trying on the menu. I did this by telling him I needed more time to decide. After his second attempt at asking me if I was ready to order and failing my test, I decided. Penne Rosa it is. My meal came out and my mouth began to water from the smell of the tomato sauce. Let me know if you need anything. He said to me. I take my first couple bites and he comes over to my table. Are you still doing alright he asked eagerly. First of all, he said, let me know… therefore, I will let him know if I need something. Second, I didnt understand what he meant by still. Suddenly, I felt rushed, as if I was his last table for the night and he was waiting on me to finish his shift. Im ready for the check whenever you get a chance. I told him. He reached in his apron and set the check on the table like he was expecting me to leave any minute. He comes back and takes my credit card and scrambles back to my table quickly. Thank you so much, come back and visit us again, he says in a calm, polite voice. This was the only thing he said all evening that I actually didnt hate hearing.. In my mind, I heard it as him thanking me for leaving.
Delish! I love their homemade pasta!
I love Romano’s! Awesome Italian food!
Very very bland food and bad service. Our drinks were empty 95% of our meal and salad was soaked in dressing. Try gennaros on broadway instead
