A few friends recommended this place and I’m glad this did. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. There were so many choices it took a bit to figure out what to have and the food in a short amount of time and food journey began. I will definitely be back and tell others about this place.
Yummy!!. We have been coming here for 5 years and can’t get enough! They always have fresh Sushi, and have a good variety of creative sushi rolls that my boyfriend likes to try! The dragon roll is awesome! Super friendly servers, and food is ready pretty quick. Whenever we have a date night and aren’t sure where to go– This place always works! (The Saki is great too!)
One of my favorites. After my last sushi ordeal in Wash Park, I had to come back to an old favorite. Overall Sushi Basho is a great experience. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The sushi and appetizers are always out to the table quickly, regardless of the crowd. Any of the special rolls that I’ve had are fantastic. And when at the sushi bar, the chefs have always been friendly and made great suggestions for sushi or sashimi. This is one of my favorite restaurants for sushi.
Excellent! The waitresses were as nice as can be and answered every question we had. Went in when it was very busy and got all of our food in a timely fashion. The outside of the place looks a tad bit sketchy..but the inside is nice and clean. Very good place to get sushi.
Simple, yet satisfying.. Simple restaurant, nothing really fancy at all, but the food is worth the trip! I only ate inside once, but the service was awesome. I usually ordered Chicken Teriyaki on a weekly basis for carry out, and it was usually ready when I arrived. In the rare case that I had to wait, I was always offered a seat and something to drink while I waited. The portions were excellent for the money, and all of the sides included. Very friendly staff, excellent food, good prices! Every time I go there the Sushi Bar is always full of customers.
Great inexpensive sushi. My boyfriend and I have been going here since 2004. The nigiri and maki sushi is consistently tasty, and I love the green salad. My boyfriend is particularly enamored of the tuna poke. For the price, it is a great sushi deal. The service can be spotty, but it’s acceptable considering the price and quality of food received. The floorman, Simon, will try to remember your name, but he will inevitably fail and call you something crazy. It’s ok. The effort is appreciable. Sit at the bar if you can. It is enjoyable to watch the meticulous and constant work of the sushi chefs.
Amazing. The spider rolls will tantalize your senses. The smell, the look, and the taste. Once again, amazing.
