I reccomend it!. Before going to eat at the Clock Tower Grill I received a great review from my dad who works less than a mile from the restaurant that led me to check it out and I was impressed with my visit! I would say that the location of the restaurant might be instantly misleading because it is kind of hidden by a bunch of buildings, but that should be the last thing to stop you from visiting this restaurant. Having been a Wednesday around one o’clock I would have expected it to be packed, it was about half full and I was kindly greeted by the hostess and quickly sat to my table in the lower dining area. Shortly after my waitress came to the table to take my drink order and answer any questions about the menu, she was very nice and interactive in a welcoming way. Throughout my meal I had next to perfect service, I never had an empty glass of iced tea and she came back to the table frequently to check up, it was very relaxing. I don’t like looking at a menu that has too much on it because there is no time to look at everything. This menu is three pages with a fold out beer and wine menu with all of the prices and specials; it is extremely easy to read. The prices for the meals are reasonable ranging from $7.49 for a hamburger or fish tacos and close to the same for everything else, not too expensive. The beer and wine selection is big with prices ranging from six dollars a glass to twenty for a bottle, which to me seems quite reasonable. I ordered the Clock Tower Mack Daddy burger with two crispy bacon strips, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup and it came out hot and exactly how I asked it to be cooked, honestly a great burger I would get any day. The fries however do not come with the meal and need to be ordered separately which really is no big deal to me because they were amazing. Upon entry I was instantly hooked by the look and the atmosphere of the place. There is a bar area with several HD televisions with the bar seats and also high top tables along with a nice dining area below the bar also with lots of TV’s to fulfill all of your sports watching needs. I really liked the cherry wood chairs and tables and all the memorabilia on the walls, it is a sporty but nice kind of place with different music playing as you eat. It is a great place to bring younger kids that are looking for something to do with a back game room by the restrooms that has anywhere from golden tee golf, Pac man and also silver strike bowling. There is plenty of light in the restaurant with individual lamps at each of the booths and plenty of lighting on the ceiling. I was surprised by the restrooms in how fresh it smells and how clean everything was, it was night and day compared to some I have seen. Despite the bad things that might be said about the Clock Tower Grill I will definitely go back to eat and recommend it to anyone that asks me about it. I would say that for being a new restaurant they are off to a good start..I had excellent service and the food was hot and delicious when I received it, all around a great dining experience at the Clock Tower Grill. Check it out!
Ruined an engagement party. We were just talking about looking forward to our friend’s engagement party scheduled over a month ago at the Clock Tower Grill (we are 3 days from the party), and also commenting on how glad we were that it was so close to where we live. A few minutes later, we receive an email from the party organizers that Clock Tower will no longer host this part of over 100 people because the Broncos will be playing in a playoff game that night, thereby inconveniencing many people that night, NOT TO MENTION future business you would have had from many of the party goers! This was not a brilliant business decision and a disappointment to many. It’s a shame because the engaged couple really used to enjoy your place. Now, it looks like negative press will follow your ill-thought-out decision because as you know, social media has a way of spreading news far beyond the engagement party. Oh well…just sayin.
Recommend NOT Going. I would recommend never going to this place. I am recently engaged! Our good friends planned to throw an engagement party for us at the Clock Tower Grill. They planned this over a month ago. The Clock Tower even recommended hosting our party on Sat. instead of Friday due to Karaoke night. The week of the party, the manager sends an email (not even a phone call) to our friends saying they decided they no longer wanted to host the party since the Broncos won the playoff game and will be playing again on Saturday. They said the Owners no longer would allow it. The owners would not even return a phone call.That is bad, bad business and a carless business decision. We have over 100 people attending our engagment party. Food and drinks were to be ordered through the night until close. Not to mention the Broncos game and a large group of us coming in earlier then our 8:00 PM party to watch the football game. Every business we talked to and heard what Clock Tower did said they were shocked and that was terrible business decision and as a manager they would never do that to someone. One place who is a sports bar has a surprise 30th birthday party that night and said they could not imagine emailing them this week to tell them they no longer will host the party.Now all 100 + guest all know what the Clocktower Grill has done and will never step foot again into this place. Most of our neighbors and ourselves have contributed a lot of money to this business and will never again contribute to terrible service ever again.
Went here a few days ago with some friends late at night, took a little while to be seated but when we were our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Alcoholic beverages are a bit expensive but alcohol in general is expensive so this came to no surprise. The food was okay, thought it seemed silly to charge extra to have fries with your burger entree. Overall if you’re looking for somewhere that’s open late at night, that can accommodate 4+ people, with decent food. Then this is a place worth checking out.
I really liked it!. Not sure what some of the complaints are about but if it’s for the wait staff, I can see that some of them look like they don’t want to serve you and just look cute. I loved our waitress. The service was a little slow but they had a lot of tables to wait on. I also loved the food. We had the queso which is super creamy and the best comfort food I have had in awhile. Had a guac burger which was good but the guac was really spicy. Too spicy for me (I made sure the burger didn’t come with the green chile’s either). We did have to order the fried separately but they were really good as well. Seasoned, fresh and with the skins on, which I love. Place was clean and I loved the food. I’ll keep coming back, maybe to watch the games on Sunday since they have the NFL Ticket, which sadly I don’t have this year. I also want to see what they are about on a Sat night!
Don’t waste your time. Bar staff was rude and unfriendly; beer was somewhat expensive, menu only looked so-so, furniture is uncomfortable and karaoke was a joke. This place has zero atmosphere. I predict this place will be gone by this time next year, hopefully occupied by a better establishment with friendly staff.
