I would never go back to this place. It will cost about an average of 20 per person, the food is below average, it took over 2 hours to get served, after that half our party was served cold food and the other half was served like 20 minutes later. We had 2 starving kids, they ordered mac n cheese. Apparently that could not be made any sooner than 2 hours either, it kind of sucked too, they would have been better off just serving them craft out of the box. The food was total basic crappy fare, I honestly would rate the olive garden higher. We asked our waiter to speak to the manager about the service and instead the same waiter came back out and said he was a manager too and we could just tell him, after waiting 20 minutes. we complained to him previously about the wait, he kept promising it was coming. It took about an hour to get our salads because they came with bread that had to be toasted and apparently that is hard for them. Also they are super proud of their garlic knots (greasy breadstick balls) and will tell you how they are a sampler of all their food and have this really great pitch for low IQ people to be impressed by. Bottom line is they don’t care about the quality of their service, food or customer experience. the owner responds to these reviews defensively and pretty much never takes responsibility for anything she just wants to keep running her ship the way she wants to and customer feedback isn’t very valuable unless you are singing their praises. I will never return, I haven’t written a scathing review online for about 6 years, this place caught my ire for making us wait forever and then not feeling like my 2.5 hours of waiting wasn’t worth 5 minutes of the managers time.
Yes, this place is small. Yes, you more than likely need reservations any day of the week. BUT THIS PLACE IS WORTH IT. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had. The wait staff is knowledgable and very professional. Call plenty of time ahead to get a seat.
This place was packed on a Thursday night. Standing room only. Good thing, that. The bolognese was good, better than most, but not Bolognese Valhalla. A little light, whatever the sales pitch. The pizza was flavorful, tasty. Good happy hour. We’ll be back. Winner.
