Nothing special. Just weird…and not in a cool different kind of way. Just weird.
I am a regular customer, my boyfriend and I do all you can eat once a week. That is about $200 a month. Tonight we ordered something new and it was not to our liking. We always eat all of our sushi. I understand policy in that you charge for all sushi not eaten. However our server was rude, it was either eat some rotten and distasteful or pay for something rotten and distasteful. Talk about negative customer service! No thank you
Busy Place. Out of the way, funny little resto. You come in and there is no real entry area, but so what. The servers were close to inept, but nice and smiling, but so what. The gyoza were small and tidy, with good flavor- not the hard bullets so often found. The miso flavorful. The ginger dressing on the salad was a breath of wonderful. The California rolls as nice as anywhere. Decent beer selection. The loser, besides the odd and uncomfortable servers, was the chicken curry. Really not very good. Too salty, and just not good. I know, it’s a sushi place. Good point and we will return and just try the well reviewed sushi.

Best sushi – best value. My husband and I dine at Joy Asian Bistro every week-end and have never been disappointed. We have enjoyed sushi at many different restaurants over the past 30 years and find the sushi here to be the very best. The fish is always fresh, the service is great, and the value can’t be beat. We have recommended Joy Asian Bistro to many friends and they have all raved about it. We even brought our extended ‘meat and potatoes’ family here for our daughters high school graduation party. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had something they liked. The presentation of their teriyaki chicken was beautiful and the food was excellent. You can’t go wrong!
AMAZING. My boyfriend and I will not eat sushi anywhere else! The price is great and the food is even better, always fresh. I also love the service, they always remember us when we go in! This is a must if you are a sushi lover!
