Maple nut cake donut is very tasty. Given the size of the place, I thought they would have more variety. Their pastry case is kinda small.
Lora’s Donuts & Bakery!!!. If you’re looking for rediculously good doughnuts in south Denver, Lora’s off E Lincoln Blvd is your stop. With fresh apple fritters the size of a plate and creative doughnuts that will tempt most palates, this is a nice little bakery. We ordered a few fritters and a dozen doughnuts, and found all to be fresh, moist, and very tasty. My sister commented that it was the best raised glazed doughnut she’d ever eaten. I enjoyed the fritters (which were HUGE) as they are a favorite type for me. The fritter was filled with baked apple and cinnamon and was perfect in texture, flavor, and sweetness. It wasn’t too sweet, it wasn’t too done, it wasn’t too small. It was perfect. There was a slight confusion that the crew at Lora’s handled with kindness and joy and it was a pleasure doing business and enjoying their obvious passion for baked goods. This is the real deal.
Love this place! They were able to make a custom giant donut that was delicious! Very friendly too!
