Good enough. I’m no sushi aficionado, so I can’t wax eloquent or rag horrendous. We had the chef nigiri sushi. Simple to the extreme. A slice of various fish with a small bit of rice on the bottom. The TNT jalapeo rolls were terrific. A good Japanese beer on tap. Nice salad with ginger soy dressing. Big room. We may try again for happy hour. Maybe not. Seemed a bit simple. Server was fine.

The decor and atmosphere is really nice. That being said the service was mediocre. The waitress spent more time watching tv than her tables and didn’t even smile. The menu is small, and ours had food dripped all over it. Yuck. The house saki is cheap and the steak was seriously overcooked and they didn’t let it rest before cutting it up so it was dry yet sitting in a pool of juice. It tasted more stewed than seared. The tereyaki sauce was flavorless and hardly any of it. The vegetables were limp and flavorless also. The miso soup is good and so was the magic mushroom appetizer, just be ready for an explosion of avacado mush when you bite into it.

Decent food for Japanese steakhouse. Did not try the sushi. Bit pricey.

Went there for lunch. Very empty but they said they are really packed on wekends. The food was excellent in my opinion. I’m not big with sushi but it was good and they combo lunch meals with good miso soup.

We went there for dinner and got there in time for their happy hour (both food and drink-a great value), so we enjoyed ourselves. EXCELLENT sashimi and sushi. Very good sake and martinis. Service excellent, prompt but never hasty. The dcor is wonderful, and they do have big screen sports screens, but they are unobstrusive. Presentation was beautiful. We sat at a regular table, but also being a steakhouse they have havashi tables too, where the chefs put on a show!

Nice atmosphere. Good food with generous portions. Entertaining. Great for family and special occasions.
