Meatloaf Sandwich!!. UPDATE: 3.19.14 Well, the Meatloaf sandwich was taken off the menu, they no longer have the potato salad, either. Additionally, they got rid of Sweet-n-Low, in favor of something called Truvia?!?! Lastly, they even did the unthinkable and changed the once-great chocolate chip cookie to a mushy, doughy piece of yuck. Shame on Nordstrom and I will not be back.For years, I avoided the restaurants in Nordstrom, as I figured it would be over priced and small portions….kind of like their retail store. I am man enough to admit when I was wrong and I WAS WRONG.I had the Meatloaf sandwich with a side of Deviled Egg Potato Salad and was in heaven. The sandwich came on an Onion roll, with white cheddar cheese, carmalized onions and mayo. Quite simply one of the top 5 sandwiches I have ever eaten. Only $9.95, as well. The side dish was very good, as well, although I am never a fan of anything with celery in it. I prefer my potato salad to use sweet pickles for that aspect, but it was still very good.Great service, as one always gets in a Nordstrom and there were other menu items I wish I had room to try. Next time, indeed. Bravo for them and shame on me for holding out.
